YouGov Research: Topshop




Looking at the older of the two main target groups, I chose one of the interests that these people would have. It is evident that those that shop at Topshop are very feminine and interested in fashion and beauty. They also use many different social media networks, suggesting that it would be a good idea to address fans via social media. They define themselves as sweet, suggesting that they will relate to an artist with a similar personality. They also accept that they can be neurotic and insecure, suggesting that they would appreciate pop songs touching on these themes. Their focus on beauty suggests an importance in aesthetics; I should use a visually appealing digipak and magazine advert to attract their attention.
